where black stone finds

grey water, silver foam wraps

around rock

your voice

beckons me back

through white shadowed rain

Silk waves in glass are merely

your ghost

swimming in mirrors

Hidden in mist

a seabird sings

your echo

as wind flickers

feathery buds

bursting in thunder-blast sun

you’re haunting the heather
