We are excited to introduce our first seasonal theme, ‘Streams’, and hope that you will consider contributing a poem or story or creative construct of your own to this new venture which will form a separate strand on the website
We would love to read your work and look forward to a flood of submissions.
When does a ditch become a stream? you might ask.
Actually, a brook, stream, creek, rivulet or ditch are all fine by us. We are also quite interested in culverts or even more abstract streams.
Rivers? Now they’re a different matter. And let’s not forget the creatures that inhabit or depend on streams.
Take the theme as literally or as abstrusely as you wish.
Please send up to 4 poems as a single Word document attachment to email@example.com. Poems should be a maximum of 40 lines.
Please send up to 2 stories as a single Word document attachment to firstname.lastname@example.org. Stories should be a maximum of 1,000 words.
Use STREAMS as the subject of your email.
We are happy to take previously published work.
Closing date for the theme will be 21st June but send early because we will begin selecting work for the website in March 2019.
We are, of course, still open to general submissions.
